^ preceding your input will only match items beginning with that string. For example ^intl will match INTL BUSINESS MACHINES, et. al., whereas just plain intl will exceed the search limits.
Wildcard expressions can be matched with a [.] (That's a period). Try to be as specific as you can because matches are limited to 50 tickers.
When running a search it is a good idea to start out with the lowest common denominator. For example PBHG is much more likely to be found in our files than "PBHG Growth". This is due to the fact that our quote service does not always follow the real name of a fund, stock, etc in their data files. Instead an abbreviation of some kind is used.
